Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our blockchain infrastructure. You will work with Rust and/or Move programming languages to enhance our blockchain platform’s scalability and performance. Your role will involve building decentralized systems, optimizing Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols, and ensuring the security and immutability of our blockchain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Blockchain Infrastructure Development: Design, develop, and maintain blockchain infrastructure using Rust and/or Move programming languages.
- Protocol Optimization: Implement and optimize Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols to improve scalability and performance.
- Decentralized Systems: Build and maintain decentralized and trustless systems to ensure the security and immutability of our blockchain platform.
- Performance Tuning: Collaborate with the core development team to identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Code Quality: Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance codebase quality and maintainability.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform.
- Open Source Contributions: Contributors to open-source projects will be given high consideration.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 3+ years of strong proficiency in Rust programming, with a deep understanding of its unique features and best practices.
- Blockchain Expertise: Extensive knowledge in networking, consensus protocols, parallel execution, storage, and other fundamental blockchain concepts.
- System-Level Tuning: Proven experience in system-level performance tuning, including memory management and CPU utilization optimization.
- Security Practices: Familiarity with blockchain security best practices and the ability to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communication: Proactive communication skills with native-level proficiency in written and oral English.
Preferred Skills
- Move Programming: Proficiency in the Move programming language.
- Move Runtime: Experience with Move Runtime, preferably Aptos Move.
- Smart Contracts: Experience with Move Smart Contracts.
- Open Source: Active contributor to open-source projects.
