Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Research Analyst to significantly enhance our data-driven decision-making capabilities. We value alignment with our core principles of trust and honesty and seek individuals who share our vision for the positive and ethical impact of decentralized technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Statistical Analysis and Machine Learning: Conduct time series analysis, apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, and develop probabilistic models to predict trends, extract insights from large datasets, assess risks, and detect anomalies in transaction data.
- Control Strategies Development: Design and implement model predictive control (MPC) solutions using optimal control theory and state-space models to improve decision-making in DeFi systems.
- Algorithm Development: Utilize advanced methods to solve optimization problems, enhancing system performance and maintaining efficiency.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent self-learning experience. Proficiency in differential equations, linear algebra, system dynamics, state-space modeling, and numerical methods is highly valued.
- Statistical Analysis: Strong knowledge of statistics, time series analysis, and probability theory. Experience with modern machine learning algorithms for inference and prediction.
- Control Theory: Understanding of optimal control theory, model predictive control (MPC), and control systems design is highly desirable. Practical experience with MPC solutions and optimization strategies for dynamic systems is a plus. Knowledge of constraint handling and optimization techniques, including linear, non-linear, and dynamic programming, is beneficial.
- Programming Proficiency: Advanced skills in object-oriented programming, particularly in Python.
- Large Dataset Management: Experience managing large datasets, including time series and unstructured data, is a plus.
- Debugging and Version Control: Experience with code troubleshooting and debugging, and familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
- Database Management: Competence in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) database management and querying. Experience with database design is a plus.
- Blockchain Knowledge: Basic understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DeFi principles is a plus.
- Qualitative Skills: Inquisitive nature, with the ability to critically assess and question information. Independence, ownership, and the ability to handle complex tasks with minimal guidance. Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
