Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead and scale engineering initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background and proven leadership in growth-stage crypto startups. This role will be essential in directing engineering projects that encompass blockchain protocols, smart contract development, and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-impact engineering team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and open communication.
- Inspire and guide team members to meet project and organizational objectives.
- Analyze technical requirements, break down initiatives, and resolve ambiguities effectively.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of quality integrations and processes.
Qualifications:
- Available to work from 9 AM to 12 PM ET.
- 5+ years in software development with 2+ years in management.
- Strong grasp of software development processes, programming languages, and architecture.
- Proven ability to align technical projects with business goals through collaboration with product teams.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and user behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure coding practices.
- Experience in leading teams through transitions and conducting technical hiring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a growth-stage crypto company.
- Self-motivated with a passion for Bitcoin and crypto technologies.
- In-depth understanding of blockchain principles.
