Job Description
Nestlé Nigeria seeks to hire Nutrition Advisors in various locations. The selected candidates will provide scientific information on infant nutrition to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in their assigned territories, adhering to WHO/local codes and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
- Serve as a reliable source of information on infant products.
- Build strategic relationships with key healthcare professionals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service satisfaction based on needs.
- Recommend investments and plan activities for potential HCPs.
2. Issue Management and Problem Solving
- Identify performance barriers in the territory and propose solutions.
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet objectives.
- Assist in implementing the WHO Management System.
3. Territory Management
- Maintain an updated list of HCP contacts and monitor call frequency to ensure effective coverage.
- Plan and execute marketing strategies as directed by management.
- Conduct regular trade checks for compliance with WHO/local codes and assess market conditions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, Food-related Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Medical Sciences, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of WHO/local codes.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Quick learning ability regarding nutrition standards and products.
- Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and foster relationships.
- Proactive, creative, and adaptable mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
