Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Events Intern to join our team at Hashgraph. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our community engagement program by organizing and coordinating events to educate diverse demographics about the Hedera ecosystem. You will act as the primary point of contact between meetup partners and Swirlds Labs, representing Hedera and its ecosystem partners. This position is within the events team of our marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and organizing community meetup events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively.
- Venue and Vendor Research: Conduct research on potential venues and vendors, and provide recommendations based on your findings.
- Liaison Role: Serve as the communication bridge between the Swirlds Labs Marketing team and meetup groups.
- Outreach Processes: Develop and refine processes and best practices for community engagement outreach.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams in the marketing department, including developer relations and demand generation, as well as with the developer advocate and engineering teams.

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Hedera Hashgraph: Familiarity with the Hedera ecosystem is a plus.
- Creativity and Problem-Solving: Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
- Event Planning Experience: Some experience in event planning and management is beneficial.
- Multilingual: Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
