Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Community Engagement Manager to drive the growth and engagement of the Rootstock community. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in managing our Ambassador Program, interacting with community members, and crafting strategies to enhance community engagement both online and offline. You will also work closely with our brand and communications team to amplify our message and increase brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Leadership: Represent RootstockLabs within our community by actively engaging with members, addressing their queries, and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
- Ambassador Program: Oversee and expand our Ambassador Program, empowering supporters who align with our vision.
- Event Management: Coordinate and host events such as Discord and Twitter spaces, community calls, livestreams, webinars, and more. Collaborate with the events team to organize in-person meetups globally.
- Community Support: Partner with internal teams and ambassadors to ensure prompt and effective responses to community inquiries from users and developers.
- Audience Insights: Develop and nurture key relationships within the community, gathering actionable insights to share with our engineering, product, and partnerships teams.
- Reporting: Track and report on community growth, support, and engagement initiatives, providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in community management, social media management, or growth marketing, with at least 3 years in the blockchain industry.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in planning and executing both online and offline events.
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum and DeFi.
- Understanding of crypto consumers and their motivations online.
- A genuine interest in blockchain and web3 technologies, with experience in decentralized governance solutions, LegalTech, or FinTech being highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across multiple time zones.
